# Workspace

Workspace is your hub for creating and managing Canvas and Studio projects, organizing them into folders, and managing your account and billing.

<figure><img src="https://2973737105-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAXNLyKVZ2tvtyDr8sVES%2Fuploads%2FkvfBbzXIvEXb5hd38bxC%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=6e08dcbe-9a32-4f1a-8715-b2951c37e414" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Getting to Workspace

* Opening [canvas.vectary.com](https://canvas.vectary.com) shows a welcome screen with a **New project** card and a couple of ready-made sample Canvas projects to explore.
* From there (or from inside any Canvas project) click the **V logo** (top left) or the **Open Workspaces** button to get to Workspace.
* Picking one of the sample projects opens an editable copy of it in your Workspace.

### Creating a project

Two project types can be created from Workspace:

* **Canvas Project** - opens a new Canvas, an infinite board for collecting references and generating AI content with presets.<br>
* **Studio Project** - opens a new blank scene in Vectary Studio, the full 3D editor.

<figure><img src="https://2973737105-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAXNLyKVZ2tvtyDr8sVES%2Fuploads%2FfYDbzZc2j7pMypN45875%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=b0eb13d9-23d1-46ab-be86-74acde3de9e6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Folders

The left sidebar lists folders within the workspace, used to organize Canvas and Studio projects together. Drag and drop a project onto a folder name to move it there.<br>

* **Home** - the default folder.
* **Archived** - stores deleted projects, which still count toward the workspace's project limit. Projects here can be **restored** or permanently **deleted**.

### Workspace settings

Click the gear icon (top right) to open workspace settings:

{% tab title="Workspace" %}

On the Workspace tab, you can do the following:

* Copy workspace ID
* Delete workspace
* Upload a workspace cover image and rename the workspace
* Invite members by email and assign their role (enter the email, pick a role, and send the invite). See the list of current members, their role, and whether they've joined.

{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Limit History" %}

Limit history tab shows a log of AI generations: what was generated, when, by whom, and how many credits it used.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://2973737105-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAXNLyKVZ2tvtyDr8sVES%2Fuploads%2FP8XX28lGgS6fPC5n8UJr%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=30a2a3d5-41c2-4568-8dc5-96eb4bdf1a85" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
{% endtab %}

# Agent Instructions
This documentation is published with GitBook. GitBook is the documentation platform designed so that both humans and AI agents can read, navigate, and reason over technical content effectively. Learn more at gitbook.com.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.vectary.com/documentation/getting-started/workspace.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
