# Animated texture

The **Animated Texture** action manages the playback of animated files (GIFs, Lotties, MP4), whether they are used as a texture on a 3D object, a decal, a Floating UI element, or a Hotspot.

**Settings**

* **Control:**
  * **Play** — Starts the texture animation from the beginning or resumes from a pause.
  * **Pause** — Pauses the texture animation at its current position.
  * **Stop** — Stops the animation and resets it to the beginning.
* **Animation** — Select a GIF, Lottie, or MP4 file to be played.
* **Repeat** — Enables continuous playback of the texture animation indefinitely.
