Vectary Dashboard
Learn about organizing projects using workspaces and folders, as well as managing projects
The dashboard is the initial screen you see when you sign up as a new user or log in. It acts as a central hub for managing all of your projects and workspaces.
Workspaces
On the far left side, you can see squares – these represent workspaces:
The order of workspaces can be changed:
Workspace Settings
Each workspace has its own settings. Click on the gear icon to open the settings or follow this link: www.vectary.com/dashboard/?workspace_settings=true
Workspace settings allow for the following:
- Manage workspace members
- Access the last three invoices
- Upload an image for the workspace cover
- Rename the workspace
- Delete the workspace
Members
Users can invite other Vectary users to their workspaces only if the workspace is on a Business subscription. To receive an invitation and join someone else's Business Workspace, simply having a Vectary account is required.
To invite a new member, open the workspace settings by clicking on the Invite button in the top right corner of the dashboard or by following this link:
In the settings window, create a new invitation link and specify a Role. Then, simply send this invitation link to the Vectary user. Upon clicking the link, the user will automatically be added to the workspace and will see your workspace in their list of workspaces.
Billing
The workspace settings window has a Billing tab where you can access information and actions related to your subscription:
- Details about seats, upcoming payment
- The last three invoices
- Subscription cancellation option

Folders
Each workspace has folders that help organize project storage.
Projects can be freely moved from one folder to another.
Archived — this folder contains deleted projects. If a deleted project is located in this folder, it still counts towards the total project limit for the workspace (for Pro subscription, the limit is 100 projects). You can permanently delete a project from this folder.
Projects
Projects in the workspace are arranged in order of their most recent editing.
Projects can be moved between folders and also from one workspace to another by simply dragging and dropping the project onto the workspace icon:
Multiple projects can be selected and dragged simultaneously
Ctrl+A
and drag the selection:
Green dot
The green dot in the top left corner indicates that the project is shared. Clicking on it will copy the project link to the clipboard.
Project Card
Clicking on the bottom part of the project cover opens the project card, where additional actions can be taken:
- Upload a cover image for the project
- Add description and tags
Common project actions

finished
or public
. This will make it easier for you to find the correct project in search results, especially if you have duplicates or versions with similar names.Importing a project into another project (Design system)
Any of your existing projects can be imported into the current project directly in Studio:
Project 3.0
Vectary allows creating a project of the old version (3.0) from 2020.
Here is the button for creating a new Project 3.0:
Projects 3.0 can be distinguished from Projects 4.0 in the dashboard by a special label:
Project marker M
If you see the marker M
on a project card, it means that the project includes a custom material that has been saved by you or another workspace member.
