Variants
Variants tool combines many objects into one group in which only one object can be displayed at a time. This works by using a radio button switch.
Variants can contain any objects:
- Models/objects
- Lighting
- Camera (the view will switch)
- Hotspots
- A group that will contain many objects, including unique lighting and a camera.
The Variants tool is used as a source for the Variants (Floating UI element). In this way, you determine which objects will be available for switching in your 3D configurator.
Using Variants as a source for the Materials (Floating UI element) allows you to change materials for each object.
Objects within Variants can be switched with different triggers (ie: Click or hover). This is configured in the Interact mode.
