Download Image
One click on the button at the bottom of the scene, and in a second you'll start downloading a 4k resolution image.
The scene in the image will be exactly the same as what is in Studio when exported.
3D files
To export a file, go to the Menu β Export:
OBJ
Generally accepted format supported by almost all 3D software. When you export in this format the .obj and .mtl files will be downloaded (and if there are textures, so will they).
OBJ β contains only information about the geometry and nothing else. MTL β is a companion file that contains information about the object's material, including textures.
When importing an .obj, you have to import it at the same time as the .mtl and textures. Select all the files and drag them to the scene, or drag the .zip archive at once.
DAE
The DAE format is based on the open XML format COLLADA (stands for COLLAborative Design Activity). The COLLADA standard was developed by Sony, but is now administered and developed by Autodesk. The format is still supported by Sony and the Khronos Group technology consortium. Itβs an interchange file format for interactive 3D applications.
DAE is a 3D file interchange format that is supported by most 3D editing software and a number of game engines. Although we already support the COLLADA format, the new importer has improved our support of the format. The importing of DAE is more streamlined and our processing of the file has improved as well.
You will get one .dae file.
USDZ
Format created by Pixar. It has been adopted by Apple as their format for AR applications on iOS AR Quick Look.
glTF
A modern popular and evolving format, also it has been adopted by Google as the format of choice for Augmented Reality (AR) on Android's Scene Viewer.
Downloaded as an .zip-archive, consisting of files: .gltf , .bin and textures.
glB
Binary version of glTF, the only difference is that everything is stored in one file making it more convenient.
FBX
It can be downloaded in two types: ASCII and Binary.
A proprietary file format owned by Autodesk since 2006. The FBX format is one of the most widely used 3D interchange formats. It contains the whole 3D scene, including the lights, the mesh, the transformations, and the materials. Introducing the FBX format into your workflow into Vectary is useful for people who work or are interested in working in the gaming, film production, or advertising industries. It simplifies the exchange of 3D models and projects between different software suites.
Vectary not only supports the import of FBX files but export as well. The design and publishing process is now streamlined. Import an existing FBX file into Vectary. Edit it and embed it on the Web for a 3D and AR experience. To create a gaming 3D scene, export it and then transfer it into Unity.
If the scene has no textures, it will be one .fbx file. If there are textures, you will get a .zip archive.
STL
Format for 3D printing. STL files describe only the surface geometry of an object without any representation of color and texture. You get one .stl file.
